Dorset, Restaurant capital of the world! The town of Dorset is home to a variety of shops and restaurants, this tiny town claims to be "The Restaurant Capital of the World." Here you can find some of the best in Italian, Mexican and good old American dishes in the Northland. The Heartland trail runs strait from Nevis into Dorset, its a great destination for a scenic bike trip. There is a park and of course plenty of places to eat or maybe just stop for a refreshing ice-cream cone before you get back on the trail. If you want to see a real spectacle come to town during the Annual Taste of Dorset. The town swells to capacity with people ready to enjoy samples of what these restaurants have to offer. Steve & Jill's: Located in Nevis this family run restaurant offers pizza delivery, and a full menu of American dishes and they'll grill your steak or burger right before you to your liking.

Zona Rosa: A drive to Walker will provide you the opportunity to enjoy some great restaurants including this very good Mexican restaurant.

502 Restaurant: Chase on the Lake Hotel in Walker has an excellent restaurant that looks out over Leech Lake.  There is a patio area outside as well. The only restaurant that overlooks water in the area.
