At Pine Beach you'll find many opportunities for an enriching, nature centered, family vacation with activities and facilities to fill your day with fun. We provide a variety of structured activities for the kids and whole family. Painting, and sand sculpture activities give kids the chance to flex their imaginations. Animal feeding, nature walks and a fishing contest build an appreciation for nature. Kids can make new best friends while working together on a scavenger hunt, playing kickball, or gathering around the camp fire to roast marshmallows. Things have been tailored so that no one is left out, adults to even the youngest children can join in on the fun. These activities are provided free for everyone's enjoyment and are voluntary. Your vacation can be private and family centered or a more social affair depending upon your inclination.

We have many beach and water toys including boats for your use, shuffle board, horseshoes, volley ball, soccer, tether ball, croquet, badminton, a playhouse, a playground, log fort and all kinds of games in the rec-room. Interested in golfing? You can check out many of our areas fine golf courses.
It is said that a bad day of fishing beats a good day at work and Lake Belle Taine offers a wide variety of fish for your day on the lake. Check out our Fishing advice for more details before you head out.
If you want, bring your own bicycles, but available at no charge are adult and Jr. size bikes for your use on and off the resort. Make your way to the Heartland State Trail less than 1 mile away in Nevis to enjoy miles of beautiful scenery all on a smoothly paved route.
The Nevis, Park Rapids and Walker areas all offer an assortment of attractions for all ages. We have listed a number of back to nature choices as well as some recommendations from our guests. Visit our Attractions page.
Tennis lovers bring your racket to the public tennis courts at the Nevis School. A further drive to Park Rapids provides 12 courts all open to the public when not in use for organized activities. Courts in Park Rapids are located at the Heartland Park and at Depot Courts east of the post office.
In case you get rained out and all else fails, or if you just feel like relaxing at the cabin, stop by the lodge and pick up a board game or some books from our collection. Our Guest Information book in the cabin details many of the area restaurants and attractions too.
